Information about Region Odessos (Central) - Varna, Bulgaria
Odessos region is one of the regions of Varna municipality with a population of 82784 people, Set by the National Assembly according to the law on territorial division of Sofia Municipality and cities.
It is situated in the central part of Varna and includes the town centre and square Hristo Botev.
It is located in the historic part of the marine capital and its permanent opening historical findings.
The area is famous for its archaeological and cultural monuments, as the Roman Baths, the oldest churches in the region: Holy Virgin Mary, St. Athanasius and St. Nicholas, and six museums:
Varna Archaeological Museum, the Military-sea museum, house-museum of George Veltchev
Museum for Modern, Museum of the Renaissance and Ethnographic Museum.
Among the cultural attractions of the region are also Military Club and the orchestra and Congress Center,
Varna Opera and Theater and Puppet Theater.
In the area were built many major schools and several high schools,
including the Humanitarian High School Konstantin Preslavski,
natural-mathematical high school and high school in the arts.
Of its territory located several hospitals and First City Hospital.
It includes building of Varna Municipality,
Regional Administration, the Regional Directorate of Police, the Bulgarian naval fleet
